The Westfield Mall of the Netherlands is the newest addition to the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield group (the largest commercial real estate company in Europe) in The Hague. It is the largest shopping center of the country located in one of the most urban areas in Europe in the heart of Randstad, near the A4 Motorway of Leidschendam. Randstad is the economic heart of the country, comparable to the San Francisco Bay Area population size with 8.4 million people, possibly one of the largest european metropolitains.

Matching the group’s interior design guidelines, ViaDirect has produced 4 kiosks made out of a mix of brushed stainless steel and oak wood for a modern and esthetic feel. These designs were carefully crafted to follow the current high-quality dutch architecture style and trends.
Shopping has become part of many people’s lifestyle and despite coronavirus, a shopping day is a combination of buying things and eating out which is why mall are still shoppers’ go-to destinations. The Westfield Mall of the Netherlands has a superficy of 117 000 square-meter and can fit up to 300 stores, restaurants and leisure activities. For the moment, visitors are asked to book appointments before visiting the 300-stores while restaurants, cafes and cinemas remain closed.
