KLÉPIERRE CHOOSES VIADIRECT SOFTWARE TO INSTALL INTERACTIVE WAYFINDING KIOSKS IN THE ‘BELLE EPINE’ MALL

ViaDirect digitalizes Belle-Epine
12 information and wayfinding kiosks are now installed in ‘Belle-Epine’, one of the five largest French shopping malls.
Klépierre, the 2nd largest real estate investment company in Europe, with 178 shopping centers, entrusts ViaDirect with the following solution: kiosks’ design and installation, hardware integration, software development, and maintenance.
Besides the ‘Belle Epine’ mall, the Klépierre group also chose ViaDirect for all its other wayfinding kiosks’ projects in Europe. The new installations will be carried out in the following months.
KIOSKS:
The installation consists of 12 wayfinding kiosks with 40’’ screens and barcode readers. The wayfinding kiosks are designed by the Belgian agency Brain Juice and manufactured entirely in Corian material. They are equipped with the latest innovation from our R&D lab: a colored line blinking when the kiosks are not used. This feature helps capture visitors’ attention. Various light effects are triggered depending on the marketing actions and the time of the year.
This innovation shows ViaDirect’s ability to add smart technology into its kiosk’s design while complying with strict robustness’ constraints expected in public places:

The kiosks are equipped with ViaDirect’s information and interactive wayfinding solution. The software and content design are customized to Klépierre’s shopping mall requirements. The application showcases 3 different types of content:

- Search restaurants and services available in the mall
