INTERACTIVE WAYFINDING MAP AND MULITOUCH INFORMATION KIOSKS AT CARREFOUR CHAMBOURCY (FRANCE)

ViaDirect equips Carrefour Chambourcy center
A Carrefour shopping mall (Chambourcy, Yvelines, France) has been equipped with two wayfinding and information touch kiosks with the ViaDirect wayfinding software solution. This is the second Carrefour Property shopping mall to be equipped with ViaDirect, after “Grand Var” shopping mall (Toulon, France).
Carrefour Properties has entrusted L’île des Médias, publisher of ViaDirect with the complete implementation of the solution: kiosks implementation and design, hardware integration, software, and maintenance.
The supplied kiosk is from the “Pad” range, a new 40” touch kiosk which uses the latest technologies, from the screen to the touch frame, in order to offer a very slim, yet robust, modern design for public places (ultra-small form factor PC, HD LED display, optical multi-touch frame).
This is the first installation with a brand new interface created by ViaDirect and specifically designed for 40’’ landscape screens, with beautiful animations and sliding panels. This interface respects the standards of accessibility for disabled persons, which has always been a priority for ViaDirect design teams.
