VIADIRECT ENHANCES THE WORK ENVIRONMENT OF A CONSULTING FIRM WITH 5 MULTI-TOUCH WAYFINDING KIOSKS AND A MOBILE APPLICATION

The guidance, the tendency in tertiary industries
ViaDirect’s multi-platform solution that includes interactive kiosks and mobile applications landed in a consulting firm in its Parisian offices (our client is confidential). Offering the same services with centralized management on kiosks and smartphones, the ViaDirect software informs and guides co-workers and manages the meeting rooms.
Furthermore, the users of kiosks and mobile applications can look in real-time the meeting rooms’ availability, the level of equipment (videoconference, slide projector, conference call …) and book them.
Since the first ViaDirect installations for a bank in La Defense e the headquarters of Covéa, the tactile wayfinding and information kiosks have become a strong tendency in the tertiary industry in 2015.
The wayfinding kiosks guide and inform thanks to real-time data. They fulfill functions previously distributed by other equipment (digital signage, meeting rooms). These screens are digital communications tools for companies.
KIOSKS:
Located on each floor of the building, the 5 kiosks with 32” screens are specially designed by ViaDirect:
- 2 screens are integrated into furniture located in workspaces. Fitted perfectly into the furniture, the kiosks have a LED line and signage ‘i’ in harmony with the color of the floor.
- The 3 others kiosks comprise an extremely slim design and an inclined screen, inciting the use. LED lights and « i » signage are integrated to reinforce the visibility of the kiosks.
This innovation shows ViaDirect’s ability to add smart technology into its kiosk’s design while complying with strict robustness’ constraints expected in public places.
SOFTWARE:
ViaDirect is a multichannel solution that offers the same services on mobile and kiosks with centralized data management. ViaDirect accompanies users every day. The mobile application is managed from Mobile Device Management for quick deployment in the company.
The ViaDirect Building application is a dedicated version of ViaDirect’s software for offices’ needs. ViaDirect widely extended the functionalities of its wayfinding software in order to meet the specific needs of the office market:
- 3D multi-level wayfinding in real-time
- Search offices, meeting rooms, workspaces, boxes…
- Services: restaurants, toilet, office supplies, photocopying, mediator, works council, relaxation area, technical support…
- Availability and booking of meeting rooms according to their equipment
