ViaDirect equips Who’s Next
ViaDirect’s presence in the professional and major public exhibitions is confirmed thanks to our all-inclusive hardware + software + mobile offer.
After the G20 meeting e the two editions of UITP, the Who’s Next show has chosen our interactive wayfinding solution for the third consecutive time. From 4 to 7 July we deployed an iOS (Apple) and an Android application mobile and we have installed 4 multitouch kiosks in the 4 halls of the Porte de Versailles exhibition.
Who’s Next has chosen the new generation multitouch kiosk proposed in renting by ViaDirect to equip their halls.
THE INFORMATION GLOBAL SYSTEM
The Who’s Next installation had a centralized information system that combined the cartography and the wayfinding elements with the newsreel and advertising flows. The system can supply this content by flow data collected on third-party servers.
All data are gathered then sent to different terminals: ViaDirect for multi-touch kiosks and ViaDirect for mobiles (Smartphones and tablet computers)

THE VIADIRECT MOBILE APPLICATION
ViaDirect proposes an iOS and Android application that binds it to the multi-touch kiosks’ information system.
The exhibition visitors can move in halls, look for exhibitors or events, and create a favorite list to find exhibitors again. The ergonomics of this app got used to iOS 7.

THE KIOSK
The kiosk is designated by the multitouch “Pad 40” ViaDirect range. It is fitted with the news technologies screens and multitouch to propose extremely fine and respectful constraints and robustness of public places of design (PC ultra-small form factor, LED HD screen, low profile multitouch optical display, coated lens glass,…). ViaDirect has equipped each multitouch kiosk with a luminous LED totem to be visible from a distance.
