With Kansas City’s Legends Outlets, ViaDirect is signing with Gable its first mall installation in the United States.
It is with great pride and a shared appreciation of symbolic images with partner Gable, an American digital experience platform company, that ViaDirect co-installed for the first time its puestos de orientación dedicated to malls on the US territory, in Kansas City, the pioneer American city that harbored the very first shopping mall in… 1922!
Both a traditional shopping mall and an outdoor outlet, the pretty recent Legends Outlets (since 2012 with this name, known since 2006 as “The Legends at Village West”) takes its name from its thematic alleys.
Indeed, the life and achievements of 80 famous women and men from Kansas are exhibited throughout the outlet alleys. More so, an audio-guided visit tour allows one to learn more about those stars of the sport, music, politics (Eisenhower, 34rd US President), movies (Buster Keaton), history (Wyatt Earp), or science while looking at posters and other visual documents.
Located at the heart of multi-activities and shopping district West to nearby downtown Kansas City, and, of course, a casino, Legends Outlets hosts more than a hundred brands. Fashion retails, shops, restaurants, and entertainments spread comfortably on its 1,200,000 square feet surface.

Specialist in physical display and digital signage since 1980 and now leading-edge in DXP (Digital Experience Platform), Gable took charge with great care and efficiency of the furniture and hardware installation.
Equipped with a vertical screen on each side for a total of 18 displays, the 9 giant vertical kiosks are stream-fed by well-known ViaDirect wayfinding interactive e información. Thanks to a search engine and a mapa interactiva 3D, ViaDirect software lists all services and all information necessary for a well-informed visit of Legends Outlets, and an enhanced experience (please see details on a side note).
While waiting for the next visitor’s interaction, the 18 screens automatically display commercial videos using Vistar Media technology which has been, for the occasion, fully integrated by our developers in ViaDirect wayfinding software.
