The Dakar HQ of telecommunications provider Sonatel is using ViaDirect Solution, a first time for us!
It’s in Dakar, capital of the Republic of Senegal that, in partnership with local representative iPub Events, ViaDirect has set up its wayfinding solution for the first time in West Africa.
Telecommunications provider affiliated to French company Orange since 1997 and leader in West Africa (30 millions de clients, 1022 milliards de Francs CFA de chiffre d’affaires en 2018 representing 1,5 milliard d’euros), le Groupe Sonatel a commencé son activité en 1985 au Sénégal. Depuis, Sonatel est également présent en Guinée, en Guinée Bisseau, en Gambie, au Mali et en Sierra Léone.
The Sonatel building where ViaDirect implemented its de bornes d’orientation hosts nearly 800 collaborators from the 4500 based on the African continent.
Operational since Mai 2019 at the reception area of Sonatel head-office in Dakar, the ViaDirect/iPub Events borne d'orientation intérieure guides regular collaborators as well as occasional visitors towards individual desks and collective services.

The 43’’ touch screen which displays the ViaDirect interactive wayfinding software is encased in a ViaDirect Marina type furniture. It has been produced locally by our partner iPub Events who also masterfully took care of the installation on-site and will provide the Sonatel kiosk maintenance.
