Everyone wants to provide a great customer experience, and this is possible through orientation by facilitating users’ journeys. However, how can we best accompany visitors to the shopping centre, hospital, or even the airport? The most direct solution would be to install an orientation terminal directly at the reception of your centre. 

The wayfinding kiosk 

The aim of this would be to relieve the congestion in your reception centre, to inform and direct people arriving at the destination of their choice, without wasting time queuing or searching for the right direction for a long time. The orientation terminal at the reception desk is therefore a real starting point to guide your visitors, customers and/or staff in your premises. 

However, once they have passed this first destination, how can they find their way if they decide to go on to a new destination? They won’t turn around and go back to the reception! One of the solutions is to put up several orientation posts, placed at different strategic points to allow complete orientation. 

The mobile map via a QRcode 

There is nevertheless a final complementary solution, generated by ViaDirect, allowing specific orientation to the user by accompanying him at each step and each choice of destination. Indeed, thanks to the ViaDirect telephone solution, all you have to do is scan a QRcode, which refers to a web page, select your place of departure and your place of arrival and you will have the requested itinerary with a map design directly on your telephone. A simple to use solution, with no downloading, no tracking of your phone, but with the most optimised route proposal. 

The mobile map is a perfect complement to the orientation terminals because it allows you to take it everywhere and to accompany your visit. 

However, it does not stand in the way of the wayfinding kiosk, which allow individuals to acquire more information and also add value to the environment in which they are located. 

The ViaDirect solution allows your visitors to be accompanied from the moment they arrive until they leave by having access to itineraries designed according to their choices and needs.
