The installation in Montparnasse Rive Gauche mall

Multitouch wayfinding software for kiosks, website and interactive map have just been installed by ViaDirect in the “Montparnasse Rive Gauche” mall in Paris. The ViaDirect technology is in line with the 2015 revival of the Montparnasse Tower for the shopping center, recently renamed.


ViaDirect has completed the 4 existing wayfinding digital kiosks with its interactive software customized for shopping malls and with luminous “i” totems. In the coming weeks, this totem will welcome the loyalty program by allowing visitors to use the barcode reader and a NFC reader.


Kiosks are synchronized with the new “Montparnasse Rive Gauche” website created in responsive web design by ViaDirect.



Kiosks were installed some months ago but the mall management wanted to replace the previous software by ViaDirect. We added a totem next to each kiosk to offer the loyalty system (NFC and barcode readers) and payment tools (POS terminal).



Kiosks are equipped with the ViaDirect Mall user-friendly software:

  • Multitouch 3D map in real time
  • Search stores by name or topic
  • Mall services
  • Restaurants
  • Promotions and events synchronized with the website
  • Infrastructures and area activities
  • Sending route via text messages with a new ViaDirect graphic design and managed by a backoffice
