Since 2015, ViaDirect accompanies Klépierre group in its digitization project of its centers throughout Europe. After equipping Belle Épine and Val d'Europe, ViaDirect installs its information and wayfinding software in Alexandrium (Rotterdam), one of the largest shopping centers in the Netherlands. Being the holder of the European market in interactive solution for the group, ViaDirect will equip other places in the coming months.

The installation in Alexandrium, once again, emphasizes the pertinence  of ViaDirect model, exploiting the latest technologies in digital interactive installation:

  • VD Box: smart control electronics equipment
  • Ultra-slim and i5 6th generation powerful player
  • NFC reader compatible Mifare and barcode for smartphone

SOFTWARE :

The kiosks of the mall are equipped with the ViaDirect wayfinding and interactive information solution in a design and ergonomics dedicated to Klépierre centers. The application is accessible via 3 distinct entrances, separating different types of content:

Plan:

  • Real-time 3D wayfinding maps and itineraries
  • Search for stores through alphabet order or categories
  • Search for restaurants and services available in the mall

The center:

  • Good deals (updated through Web Services)
  • Advertising of the mall’s mobile application
  • Opening hours

Information and cinema:

  • Showtimes of the movies available in the ‘Alexandrium’ cinema
  • Real-time road traffic
  • Public transport timetables
  • Parking lots

Finally, the Alexandrium shopping center will be the first Klépierre center to test the following  features, developed by ViaDirect :

  • The loyalty card program with registration on the kiosk
  • Sending route by SMS with the possibility for the user to allow the center to register his/her phone number. The aim of this feature is to extend the list of persons affected by future marketing campaigns.
