Dania Pointe shopping mall, the place of all your needs in the US, adapts its ViaDirect software for a new customer experience
Recently, we have redesigned the ViaDirect wayfinding software for Dania Pointe shopping mall.
Located on Dania Beach in Florida (USA), we have been equipping the location with our digital solution since October 2020, and we have just rebranded the d’orientation software in collaboration thanks to our local partner Gable, a specialist in physical display and digital signage since 1980 and now leading-edge in DXP (Digital Experience Platform), who is providing the interactive kiosks and client support.
Through constant communication and IT support, Gable requested us to adapt the software to the new graphic chart of its client and thus offer a new customer experience to its visitors.
The new design covers the logo, colors, images, and fonts adaptation to our client’s new branding.
As of date, the new software update is our V4 version which includes:
- 3D interactive map with guided itineraries of the shopping mall’s sole level
- User Interface available in four languages: English, Spanish, Portugal, and French
- Display of the weather outside
- Search itinerary sent to the visitor’s cell phone
- Information about the mall’s news and events
- New screen saver highlighting displayed information
- Information section “About Dania”
- Search for additional destinations to the shopping center area of the Dania Pointe “Live, Work, Stay” complex
The Outdoor furniture, provided by Gable, consists of 7 double-screens . (including 2 installed recently), interactive, and portrait-mode format. Information crafted by ViaDirect is displayed on both screens.
Dania Pointe is a mixed-used facility with almost 1 million square feet of shopping, dining, and entertainment experience. The destination also offers luxurious offices, hotels, apartments, and public event space.
Dania Pointe’s excellence comes from its strategic location with easy access and in close proximity with major transportation hubs. Strategically located in proximity with the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Port Everglades Cruise Port, and the DCOTA Design Center, Dania Pointe’s wide experience options make it South Florida’s prominent attraction spot.
The Dania Pointe’s official website revealed that in 2017, the area greeted 13.8 million tourists and they have spent more than $7.8 billion in the various venues that it has.
