ViaDirect is renewing its contract for its wayfinding solution with the French shopping center Nice Étoile.
Opened in 1982, the mall has been owned by Allianz since 2015 and has been managed since 2022 by Altarea, which specialises in the management of buildings and other real estate.
In 2016, the French shopping center, managed by the British real estate company Hammerson, was equipped with 3 ViaDirect wayfinding kiosks featuring our interactive wayfinding software to guide visitors through this large complex.
Indeed, the shopping area located in the heart of Nice, on the Avenue Jean-Médecin, includes more than a hundred shops as well as about fifteen restaurants, spread over three floors of 21,800 m2 in total.
The large building also includes floors occupied by offices and housing, as well as an underground car park with 2,200 spaces.
Le third largest shopping mall in Nice, it delights its visitors with its quality services and multiple brands such as Starbucks coffee, Desigual or Hollister.
In order to continue to improve the service to its customers, Nice Étoile under the management of Altarea has improved the software already present on the kiosks by installing the dernière version. ViaDirect, which has already worked with Altarea in Nice for the Cap 3000 center, was able to contribute its expertise on the subject. The three kiosks, which are equipped with ViaDirect’s exclusive Gazelle model, were then fitted with version 4 of our dynamic software. In order to improve the skills of our kiosks, the maintenance also allowed the replacement of the 3 players in order to optimize their efficiency.
