ViaDirect is happy to announce the newest addition to its installations in Texas, United States. Alongside our local partner Gable, we have provided for Killeen Mall our innovative wayfinding solutions in April 2021.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the shopping mall opened in 1981. House to a hundred brands, fashion retails, shops, restaurants, and entertainments, the mall is central to the daily lives of the people of Killeen city as it is one of the two regional malls in Bell County. To offer an enhanced shopping experience, it entrusted its surface to our expertise in wayfinding solutions. Our newly installed technology comes as a response to the rapid digital adoption era which is why we should address the needs for an experience-centred visit to the mall.
Specialist in physical display and digital signage since 1980 and now leading-edge in DXP (Digital Experience Platform), our partner Gable has taken charge of supplying the kiosks (furniture and hardware) while we provided the software suite and daily support for these interactive displays.
There are 5 double screens set up throughout the center for information and guidance for visitors.
The ViaDirect’s software suite designed for Killeen Mall includes :
- A mapa interactiva 3D with search for itineraries
- Shops and brands search by alphabetical order and categories (accessories, sport, food specialty, entertainment, hotels, apparel…)
- Search and quick localization of service facilities (ATM, restroom, elevator, parking lot…)
- Display of Killeen Mall real-time events and activities
- Free service Photobooth where visitors can take an instant fun selfie and send it via email
- Optional menu display optimized for people with reduced mobility
- User interface in English and Spanish language
What’s more, the easy-to-use wayfinding search engine efficiently gives the user instant and understandable information about where he chooses to go. With this installation, Killeen Mall is ready to welcome numerous new retailers to offer a wider variety of shops for its visitors.
This project is our third joint installation with Gable, which we thank for this operation.
